With extensive experience in assisting multinational companies, the Customs and Foreign Trade area operates in structuring cross border trade businesses, analyzing contracts, tariff variations, customs taxation and general customs aspects, as well as trade agreements and bilateral relations. The team responsible for this area is recognized for its ability to negotiate with regulatory agencies, such as the World Trade Organization – WTO.


> Assistance and consulting on major issues involving foreign trade, including supply chain planning for improved tax and administrative efficiency

> Guidance on tax and regulatory procedures related to the import and export of goods and commodities, including the registration of individuals and legal entities with the foreign trade system (RADAR) and claiming of tariff exceptions

> Analysis, consulting, application and follow up of special customs regimes (drawback, temporary admission, customs deposit, etc.)

> Assist with the interpretation of international agreements for purposes of enforcement of tariff preference and compliance with rules of origin

> Conduct administrative and judicial proceedings related to classification of goods, customs valuation, imposition of penalties and seizure of goods

> Support in responding to inspection procedures initiated by tax or custom authorities

> Assistance in the commercial defense assistance (anti-dumping measures, safeguards, origin, quotas etc.)
