Matheus Abud Cotrim is a partner in KLA’s Project Finance practice, with over 10 years of experience in structured finance transactions, project finance, capital markets, and debt restructuring. He advises companies, financial institutions, and development banks on the structuring and negotiation of complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including security packages and financial instruments. His practice also encompasses the negotiation of complex agreements, representing clients across a wide range of industries, including infrastructure, energy, financial services, and manufacturing.

He holds an LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Banking and Finance from Queen Mary University of London and is qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales. He is also a member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
