KLA Advogados has announced that Roberto Zilsch Lambauer has been appointed as partner in its Public Law, Energy, Projects and Infrastructure practice.

Roberto’s appointment strengthens not only KLA’s Public Law team, but also bolsters its transactional, litigation and industries presence in areas such as LifeSciences, Technology and Telecommunications. Roberto brings with him a depth of experience of more than 13 years with public tenders and administrative contracts, public service concessions and PPPs.

A Master’s degree graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, Roberto specializes in anti-corruption and administrative impropriety and has worked on crisis management projects related to “Operation Lava Jato” (Operation Car Wash). In addition, Roberto acted as Foreign Associate at international firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP based in Washington DC, where he handled anti-corruption matters of a multi-jurisdictional nature.

“Roberto’s skills will be extremely valuable not only in our pure administrative law practice, but also in complex transactions and litigation, where public law elements are often extremely relevant, if not decisive”, commented Henrique Lopes, partner and member of KLA Executive Committee.

What the new partner say

“I am honored to announce that I was named partner and head of public law at KLA Advogados, where I will be able to contribute to the firm’s continuous growth in the field of public law, particularly in matters of public procurement, government contracts, regulated sectors, public-private partnerships, strategic litigation, and crisis management (compliance)” – Roberto Lambauer, partner.
