The publication The Latin American Lawyer published the entry of Suzano Papel e Celulose into a share purchase agreement and other covenants with precedent conditions, to acquire all the shares issued by Caravelas Florestal. Suzano entered in this business with the other two companies Florestas do Brasil Fundo de Investimento em Participações Multiestratégia and FIA Timber Growth Brazil.
The operation will optimize the company’s forest base and give it the option of a potential project to expand its pulp production.
