KLA advised Harmonic Inc., a Nasdaq-listed global provider of virtualized broadband and network infrastructure solutions, on its acquisition of Int6, a Brazilian technology company specializing in automation and management platforms for fiber-optic networks serving internet service providers and telecommunications operators.
Headquartered in California, Harmonic is a global leader in virtualized broadband solutions, serving telecommunications operators and internet service providers worldwide. Int6, founded in 2016 in Porto Alegre, develops automation and virtualization solutions for fiber-optic networks used by Brazilian ISPs and telecom operators.
The transaction strengthens Harmonic’s position in the Latin American broadband market and expands its software portfolio for network service providers.
The transaction was led by Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions partners Karin Alvo and Laura Cossi, with support from associates Carlos Souto and Isabel Jimenez.
